Aplus FLV to WMV Converter is a video converter for Windows. I was expecting this converter to only support FLV files as input, but it turns out it also supports AVI, DIVX, DIV, XVID, MPEG, MPG, WMV, ASF, DAT, MOV, SWF, FLV, VOB, and NSV files. It can convert all of those to the Windows Media Format, which is supported by pretty much every Windows computer and some mobile devices and gaming consoles.
The graphical user interface is divided in two. The left half deals with input files and the right one with output settings. The input part only has a video player, and below that some space for you to add files to your queue. The right part is the most interesting of the two. There you can set the conversion settings for your files. Although the available video profiles aren't numerous, you can edit settings manually and change the settings of the conversion process a bit. You can change the resolution of your video, the bitrate, and the framerate.
In terms of performance, this converter works well. Converted files played well on VLC and Windows Media Player. You need to change the output folder from D: to something else if you want this application to work, provided you don't have a working D: drive.
